Amanda knew from an early age she wanted to be in a profession which would allow her to support people in reaching their goals and maintain their wellness. As a New Hampshire native, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire. Amanda attends trainings and classes in order to stay up to date with best practices and treatment interventions.
Amanda is integrated in the practice and works collaboratively with the team. She provides short-term therapy and utilizes brief interventions and evidenced based practices.
Amanda has experience working in skilled nursing facilities and long-term care with the geriatric population and inpatient programs. Prior to coming to Dartmouth Health Connect, she was the Clinical Team Leader of an inpatient, co-occurring disorders program. Amanda has a broad range of clinical skills, including supporting people in learning to manage the symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance use, anger management, stress management and chronic disease management.
Amanda loves outdoor activities and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
